Highland Falls
This course lives up to its name with more than 3,000 feet of lofty elevation. Rolling hills of the front nine become steeper on the back side; players could also enjoy the panoramic views of the Las Vegas strip throughout. Aside from rich fairways and elevation, what makes Highland Falls’ 18-holes course challenging and fun, is the strategically places bunkering. The are plenty of risk and reward opportunities on the back nine.
Palm Valley
Known to be as Summerlin’s most challenging and longest golf course; Palm Valley has mature, and undulating fairways that are generous enough to allow players to hit with the driver all day. However, the rolling bent grass greens make every two-putt testy. There are pine trees that line the fairways and 68 bunkers to tighten the course.
Eagle Crest
Eagle Crest course is built into a side of a stately mountain and the layout plays along the Las Vegas’ highest points, showcasing the exciting city views. Though known to be an executive course, players are tested on every club in the bag so golfers can swing the drivers while enjoying a timely round. As designer Bill Casper said “You can take any hole from this course, put in the middle of a championship course, and it would fit right in.”
